It will also effectively decrease the internal and external vaginal diameters as well as build up and strengthen the perineal body (see figure).  This can be performed by VAGINAL LASER TIGHTENING or with operative surgical procedures.  You and your physician can decide together which is right for you.  Labial reduction via labiaplasty results in a more aesthetic and better functioning vagina.

How about the "Oh Shot?" At the Gynecology Institute, we offer injections of platelet-rich plasma to the vaginal area in order to intensify and stimulate nerve sensation in the vagina and clitoris.  This is IDENTICAL to the "Oh Shot" as this particular verbiage is simply trademarked and marketed.  That's why it's spelled wrong!  What many people don't know is that platelet rich plasma gives the same results and is more economical!

What is Labiaplasty?

At times, the vaginal labia minora, the smaller labia, are unusually large.  This anatomical variation can contribute to chronic vaginitis, yeast infections, discomfort, as well as pain and bleeding due to tearing during sex.  Our office based "C method" type of cosmetic gynecology allows us to minimize the size of the labia with a painless, convenient labial reduction procedure with a reduced recovery time than other methods.
