Why I practice in women's health PT...
My clinical interest in women’s health began when I was an intern in physical therapy school. I had the opportunity to work with Jennifer and it was her passion for her profession that sparked my interest in women’s health. I was able to help women find the strength and stability to confidently carry their children, witnessed women who did not have to wear pads anymore for incontinence, and worked with women who were able to have intercourse again without pain.
Following graduation, I pursued a position that allowed me to continue working with women. My interest in women’s health has come full circle as I return to work with Jennifer. My hope is that all women across this country will have access to physical therapy focused on women’s health to accomplish their goals and improve their lives.
