Medical/Surgical Specialties

The Gynecology Institute of Chicago provides cutting edge gynecologic surgical management of many complex gynecologic conditions, such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, hysterectomy, and pelvic organ prolapse, all performed through small abdominal incisions.

With minimally invasive Gynecology, your healing time is markedly decreased, enabling you to return to your normal activities... and your life, sooner than ever!

We utilize several techniques for our surgeries:  DaVinci Robotics, Laparoscopy, Endometrial Ablation, Essure, and vaginal rejuvenation surgery.  Each of these means small (and sometimes NO) incisions.

In addition to advanced gynecologic and holistic treatments, we also provide comprehensive gynecologic care, birth control, and general pelvic and breast exams.  We perform initial Obgyn exams, pap smears, evaluate abnormal results, and arrange for other screening tests such as mammography, STD testing,  and bone mineral density scans here in our downtown Chicago offices.

After childbearing, you may experience occasional leakage of urine when you cough, laugh, or sneeze.  Many women consider this normal.  However, this condition is a result of changes in the muscle and structure of the pelvic floor that, without treatment, can get worse with time.  A Urogynecologist (a Gynecologist who specializes in conditions of the bladder) is specifically trained to handle such problems.

We are equipped to tackle your most problematic symptoms including female urinary stress incontinence, hematuria (blood in the urine), and overactive bladder treatment (urgency and frequency of urination) with specialized on-site testing.
