We utilize several techniques for our surgeries:  DaVinci Robotics, Laparoscopy, Endometrial Ablation, Essure, and vaginal rejuvenation surgery.  Each of these means small (and sometimes NO) incisions.

COMPREHENSIVE WELL WOMAN CARE

HEAVY MENSTRUAL BLEEDING AND FIBROIDS

CHRONIC PELVIC PAIN

 

Pelvic pain is a complex condition, and many etiolgies are attributable to this sometimes debilitating condition.  At the Gynecology Institute of Chicago, we utilize a stepwise process to evaluate your specific condition and devise a personalized treatment plan for you.

OVERACTIVE BLADDER AND UROGYNECOLOGY

 

After childbearing, you may experience occasional leakage of urine when you cough, laugh, or sneeze.  Many women consider this normal.  However, this condition is a result of changes in the muscle and structure of the pelvic floor that, without treatment, can get worse with time.  A Urogynecologist (a Gynecologist who specializes in conditions of the bladder) is specifically trained to handle such problems.

We are equipped to tackle your most problematic symptoms including female urinary stress incontinence, hematuria (blood in the urine), and overactive bladder treatment (urgency and frequency of urination) with specialized on-site testing.

CHRONIC URINARY INFECTIONS

 

If you find yourself being treated multiple times a year for persistently recurring urinary tract infection, you may need evaluation from a Urogynecologist.  There may be underlying conditions that are contributing to your condition.  In addition, you may need further high end testing in urogynecology.

OVARIAN CYSTS

If you notice that you have monthly pelvic pain that seems not to be improving, you may have ovarian cysts. These benign growths occur after ovulation during the menstrual cycle and usually resolve.

However, sometimes they persist and cause pelvic pain specifically one one side of the pelvis or the other, or can also cause a generalized discomfort.  We understand your questions and will work with you to find the answers you are looking for!
